Client Policies & Procedures

  • Please understand this is a group class, so the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Therefore, we have policies and procedures designed to be respectful of the space, and to ensure that everyone in attendance has the best experience possible.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early; we lock the door when class starts!

  • Please keep volume down when entering or exiting the studio to respect the practice of others.

  • Please reserve conversations for the lobby before class. Once entering the studio room, we need to allow people to set up, get centered and prepare for class.

  • After class, follow the lead of your instructor and the mood of the class for photos, conversations, etc.

  • Please avoid things that disrupt the zen of others: mobile phones, leaving class early, or coming in and out of the room! Please leave your mobile phone in the cubbies. If it absolutely must be with you in the studio room, it must be silent, and put away where no one can see it.

  • Please clean any equipment you’ve used and wipe up sweat puddles before departing.

  • Bring a towel, mat, and water to all classes. We recommend you bring your own for sanitary reasons. However, we do have loaner mats when needed, as well as some water if you leave yours at home! Please help us conserve and keep costs down by bringing your own water whenever possible.

  • We often take photos for sharing and social media. If you do not wish to be in the photos, please inform your instructor, and they will place you so that you will not be included.

  • We do require pre-registration, to ensure your spot in class, and minimize the time the instructor has to take to get you checked into class.

  • Please pay through your app or the website ahead of time. Our instructors are not equipped to process credit card payments, and we do not keep cash on hand.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entrance or service to anyone who is not a paying member, or who is not abiding by our policies and procedures.

  •

  • QUICK TIPS:

  • Go to our website and set up an account and reserve your spot prior to coming in.

  • Be sure to read the full class description before booking class, including the estimated temperature of the room and the level of skill and intensity of the class.

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your first class; we lock the door when class starts!

  • Bring a mat, towel, and water to each class!

  • Hydrate 2-4 hours prior to class; do not eat heavily 3 hours before class.

  • If at any time you feel light-headed, dizzy or sick, do not hesitate to take a child's pose, lay on your mat, or step out in the lobby until you are ready to join the class again.

  • LATE ARRIVALS:

  • We have a strict no late entry policy for safety and zen reasons; please arrive 10 minutes before class start time! Doors are locked once class begins, and cannot be opened once locked.

  •

  • CHECK-IN:

  • Please check-in at the front desk at the kiosk when you arrive. You should have pre-registered, and if you did, your name will appear on the class roster on the kiosk(tablet).  Just click your name.  If you have not pre-registered, you MUST sign the sign in sheet legibly, with full name and valid email. This is how we locate you in the system. Our instructors are required to reconcile attendance, so please help us out.

  • If you have not pre-registered, the class is full, or there is not time to get you signed in before class begins, you may be asked to come back for another class.  If you have not checked-in 5 minutes prior to class start time, your spot may be given to someone on the stand-by list. Please do not check-in anyone other than yourself.

  • LATE CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOW

  • Our current late cancellation window is a minimum of 1 hour prior to class start time. Avoiding no-shows and late cancellations help us manage the waitlist, and ensure that if there is an open spot, we can put someone in that spot who wants to take class.  We currently do not have a monetary fine for late cancellations, as it is not a huge issue. Please help us keep it that way by canceling as far ahead of time as possible.

  • LOST & FOUND

  • More than Yoga is not responsible for any lost or stolen items in the studio. We provide cubbies for your gear but recommend not bringing valuables into the studio as we can not guarantee their safety. Please email the studio or ask at the front desk for any items you may have left behind. We have a small lost and found basket near the front desk.

Important note: If you cancel your monthly draft, and decide to rejoin,it will be at the current rate being offered.

Freezes for members on contracts: As of July 1st, 2022, we no longer offer 'freezes' for vacations. As a small business, we do not get to take a break from paying our instructors, our rent and our utilities. Thank you for your understanding.  If you purchased a 12 month, contractual membership prior to July 1, 2022, you may 'freeze' your payment a maximum of one month per year for non-medical reasons up until the time your contract ends.  During the freeze, you will not be charged standard membership dues, but you will incur a processing fee of $15 per month. This 'holds' your current rate and agreement until the freeze ends.

The term of the membership will be extended for the number of days frozen.  Written notice must be provided at least 5 days in advance of the next billing cycle. A membership cannot be canceled during a freeze period.
